Pascal Van Hentenryck to Give Keynote Address at 5th Annual International Evolutionary Multi-Criterion Optimization Conference
Providence, R.I., April 1, 2009 -- Pascal Van Hentenyck, founder of Dynadec and one of the world’s leading optimization experts, has been selected to give a keynote address at the 5th annual Evoluntionary Multi-Criterion Optimization (EMO) Conference, to be help April 7-9, 2009 in Nantes, France. The EMO conference brings together researchers and practitioners from different disciplines of Computer Science, Operational Research, Optimization Engineering, Mathematical Programming and Multi-Criteria Analysis to discuss theoretical results and algorithmic developments in the field of EMO, including practice and applications of EMO in real-life situations. The event is organized in collaboration with Ecole Centrale de Nantes, Ecole des Mines de Nantes, University of Angers, University of South Brittany, and the National Center for Scientific Research.
In his keynote address, Van Hentenryck will discuss the role of constraint programming in EMO.
